ABOUT RASHAW SCOTT

This award is in honor of Rashaw Scott, a Baltimore City native, who was a client of R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center’s Violence Prevention Program. He volunteered many hours speaking to youth at schools and medical centers about healthy decision making and the destructive effects of violence. Although Rashaw tragically lost his life in 2017, the HAVI remembers the powerful impact that Rashaw had on his community, recognizing his peers who are having an impact on theirs.
